Fort McMurray, Alberta is home to the one of the largest and most popular training service providers in the area – Fort McMurray First Aid. This training service provider is also a St Mark James affiliate, offering classes at very affordable rates. Students can enrol in full courses or stand-alone classes for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or first aid. Schedules are very flexible as well, with private programs being offered.

Fort McMurray First Aid

Fort McMurray First Aid CPR classes focus on cardiovascular emergencies, such as cardiac arrest, that require CPR and AED rescue. Other injuries such as heavy bleeding and choking emergencies are also covered in the lessons.  Each level also corresponds to a particular age group and target audience.

CPR Training Programs of CPR Class in Fort McMurray

CPR training programs have three levels: “A”, “C”, and “HCP”. All levels correspond to a specific St Mark James training certificate, and are all inclusive of basic first aid and automated external defibrillation (AED) training. AEDs are machines that are attached to chest with pads and apply shock to the heart.

There are three CPR training levels: A, C, and HCP. These levels last four, five, and six hours respectively.

Stand-alone CPR classes are also available to trainees who do not want to enrol in the full level. CPR-only classes still include AED training, as per the latest guidelines from the American Heart Association.

Rates

You can’t find another training service provider in Fort McMurray that offers better rates than Fort McMurray First Aid. Rates include taxes, certification fees, and training manuals. These are only paid once during enrolment. You don’t have to worry about additional expenses. If you decide to drop out, full refunds are given as long as 72-hour notice was done.

Certificates of CPR Class in Fort McMurray

Certificate cards are awarded upon completion of a training program. Wall mount certificates are also available if the student wants to avail of them. The certificates are valid for three years and can be renewed, if current,  through refresher / re-certification programs (for level C and HCP only) held twice a week, lasting four hours.
