Thousand of people die every day in North America from cardiovascular related diseases. The skills learned in basic St Mark James first aid training teaches candidates and participants the skills to help save and preserve the life. With effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) training the victims chances of survival increase by over 8 times! Effective and basic CPR training (CPR level “A”) can take only 3 to 4 hours to complete, however, candidates can enroll into more comprehensive courses (CPR level “C”) that prepare rescuers to save the life of a victim of any age. CPR Classes Made Available in Canada
Candidates have a variety of different CPR classes to choose from. The following is a list of basic CPR classes that are offered through the major providers:
- CPR level “A”
- CPR level “B”
- CPR level “C”
- CPR level “C” with health care provider option – CPR “HCP”
For more information on the different types of CPR classes select the CPR class of your choosing from the selection from the main menu or side menu bar. The most comprehensive level is CPR “HCP” and the most basic CPR class is CPR level “A”. All courses include training and certification in the use of AED’s which are a essential component of CPR training.
